The most important thing you can do is to write a letter of objection to the Development and Regeneration Services of Glasgow City Council. The address to send you objection to is: Please include the reference: 10/03061/DC on your correspondence. Objections will only be considered if they contain material considerations. Material considerations are the matters the Council can take into account in deciding on an application. If you want to object, your objection is not considered material if it isn’t made for proper planning reasons. The Council has agreed that non-material objections to applications are not required to be considered in the decision-making. The following leaflet contains more information: GCC – Have your say Your objection will be considered particularly relevant if it references anything which contravenes the City Plan, details of which can be found here: City Plan Closing date for objections is 05 December 2011 . We have it on good authority that the council will ignore any representations after the closing date. Plans can be viewed in full at: Development and Regeneration Services, 229 George Street, Glasgow, G1 1QU. The case officer is Andy Dale who can be contacted on: 0141 287 6016. |

A personalised letter is the ideal, however, if you don’t have the time to write your own, please feel free to use and personalise one of these form letters. This is not taken as seriously as an individual objection letter, as they are looking for new reasons for objection, but will still be reviewed by the Council. These have not been updated since the last application submission, so please ensure you change the reference to: 10/03061/DC. We will make sure these are updated ASAP, but in the meantime we would be grateful if you could help us with this small detail. |

We’d still rather you sent in a letter, as they are taken far more seriously, but if you are unable to write a letter of objection for any reason, you can still sign the petition. |
